Manufacturing Insiders
During my Internship at weCreate Web Design and Marketing during the summer of 2024, I was put in charge of editing episodes for their podcast “Manufacturing Insiders.” Over the course of that summer I edited 14 podcast episodes. Most of these required only simple edits such as the removal of the beginning and end and the addition of an intro and outro sequence. At the start, I used simple png intros and outros. But eventually, I had the time and skill to make an animated intro sequence, and created this:
Despite recent changes to the logo, this remains the intro sequence that is used for these episodes. This gave me incredible confidence to create my own graphic edits, and use my skills to make these videos more engaging.
Alongside the longform podcast episodes, they had me editing shorter, 10-20 minute, “thought leadership” episodes that involved Nate Wheeler talking about a specific topic in regards to online marketing. I edited 9 of those style episodes. At the start, I treated them like the podcast episodes and only added the intro and outro sequences. But after I created this animated intro sequence, I started adding edits into these videos as well. Below are some edits that amplified the topics Nate was talking about.

Social Media
My Internship for weCreate ended in Dec 2024. Then, in late January 2025, I was contacted by weCreate again to revamp their social media. I was immediately put in charge of 4 social media accounts: Youtube Shorts | Instagram | Nathan Wheeler LinkedIn | weCreate Web Design and Marketing LinkedIn. During the course of this venture, I started by creating a content library, using the previously mentioned podcast episodes and Opus Clips that is still churning out content to this day. Then, I created a content schedule from scratch that optimally spreads out posts so that every week a variety of shorts from different podcasts gets posted. This schedule also allows for other kinds of posts to be inserted into the post schedule without any disruptions.
Some such posts, include a new venture that we are developing at weCreate. These include a new form of Instagram reel that combines my editing, with Nate’s videos, and the engaging format of using sounds on Instagram reels. These are not posted yet, but are in development as of 3/29/2025
Find my Movie Edits on my TikTok: @aresedits
My TikTok is a place that I use to practice video Editing. I take clips from movies and available sounds on TikTok in order to create a smaller story, usually about a particular character from the movie or show. The purpose is to practice my ability to tell a story using these scenes and practice my editing skills. Additionally, I have been implementing SEO techniques that I learned during my internship and during class in an attempt to grow the channel.
